No WHT on Interest Income from Foreign Currency Accounts

Department of Inland Revenue has informed the Sri Lanka Banks’ Association to exempt the interest income from foreign currency accounts with effect from 01.01.2020 as instructed by the Ministry of Finance and subject to formal amendment to the Inland Revenue Act No. 24 of 2017.
