The government has reissued ESC, NBT, PAL & Finance (DRL) Bills since which are published earlier lapsed due to the dissolution of parliament.
- Amendment to Economic Service Charge Act, No. 13 of 2006 – To remove the Economic Service Charge from January 1, 2020.
- Amendment to Nation Building Tax Act, No. 9 of 2009 – To remove the Nation Building Tax from December 1, 2019.
- Amendment to Ports and Airports Development Levy Act, No. 18 of 2011 – To increase the levy charged and levied in respect of the cost, insurance and freight value.
- Amends section 36 of the Finance Act, No. 35 of 2018 – To terminate Debt Repayment Levy w.e.f. 01 January 2020.
