As per the Section 84 of the New IRA, 10% WHT should be deducted from rent which has a source in Sri Lanka and which is made by a person (Other Company, I, e. WHT Agent) to any Resident person (Your Company).
Is there any reduced rate of WHT on rent for Non Resident? The country is Saudi Arabia. Is any one have DT of Saudi Arabia for WHT?
It is subject to 14% under sec. 84 of the New IRA. (DTA does not cover Rent payment since it is Limited treaty
